If you want a simple venue you do not have to book so far out. If you just want a space with tables and chairs you most likely can rent it easier. If you are looking for a large space, tables, and chairs, a kitchen, projector screens, etc, you will need to book as soon as you can.

When Are Wedding Venues Cheapest?

There are a few months out of the year that people don't tend to get married in. These months cause the prices at venues to decrease to where they are much more affordable. January, March, April, and November are the months that are not common for getting married in, making them the cheapest months to get married in.

The remainder of these months are full of weddings. December and February are some of the most popular months to get married right now because of the increasing popularity of Christmas and Valentines Day weddings.

Saturday is the most common wedding day of the week because most people don't have to go to work on that day of the week. If you want cheaper rates then having your wedding on a Monday or Tuesday is a great option. Although Sunday is a weekend day you should still consider having your wedding that day. The possibility of having a cheaper rate on Sunday is a pretty good chance and if your having a small wedding then it should still work.

Some venues will provide a kitchen area to prepare the food for your guests if you are making your own. They sometimes will also provide paper products like plates, tablecloths, napkins, cups, knives, forks, spoons, etc.

Most venues have bathrooms and closets for the guests. They also sometimes have changing rooms for the bride and groom so that they could have their ceremony at the venue as well. You could also use the changing rooms if you or anyone in your wedding party has a different outfit for the reception.
